Take on various timelines in a week of index and try to analyse the thought of a trader with multiple options and strategies and give outcome of all and teach about probability of losing and winning in that trade with those particular strategies.
Sir, please add news and stocks. How the news are positive or neutral to a particular stocks. Reduction of GST on automobiles in the long run. Thanks for the initiative.
It is a great initiative. And I thank Zerodha for taking such initiatives to creat trading and investing skills for its followers. It is worthy of applause.
You should take theoretical and practical aspects of trading and investing for the participant.
I am pretty sure you will do a great job and along the way realise what your participants need
Take a famous case where the investors were misled and can do it as a series with insights.. another one would be on how to read the Macro data together so it gives some sense
In trading mostly the large quant traders like Jane Street and Millenium make money and retail people lose. Only very few make money. But people are attracted into this so much that it becomes like RMG - and will soon attract regulations that will discourage gambling. How can India bring in some international best practices. How the good regulation will look like. How you can educate yourselves more on market, macros - to do a better trade. May not make money but learn important lesson? Lot of ideas and questions? Can other risk mitigation strategies manage risk rather than futures and option? Will this be dead in future?
I believe in reacting rather than predicting. It’s always better to follow the price and what it’s trying to tell us. This line of thinking also increases your chances of success.
Thank you. Also Sandeep ji, there is still a lot of ambiguity and lack of interest from even the young crowd abut NPS. I personally invest in that, however, i see many people still see NPS with a degree of scepticism. It’s a great product I feel. There is a need to educate young people and somehow get them to psychologically adopt this kind of instruments.
The only request is to make it very practical and provide data backed by practical examples. Also step by step guidance on how we can also do it on our end. Team is great and thanks for all the efforts its really helpful.
Thanks for this Team, Coming up with so much publications and collaborations, just to keep us updated and educated with the new market nuances, Never thought of being trader in my life, but always think from the perspective of cross asset investor and analyst.
There is always lag or i would called gap in when some noise which make the traders across the nation and globe make the stock price move, then eventually it suddenly becomes the reason behind the stock or market movement, some of the news are genuine and some of which are noise, how to bridge the gap to understand that and various macro factors which make big participants shift their asset position from Indian stock and bonds to other and their effect on Indian FX quotes and rates... Connecting this and main stream reason i would like to learn from this, sorry if i am asking for more. Very happy to be your frequent reader, Continue doing what you guys are doing. Best Wishes :)
Thanks, Ankit! Our aim is to bridge exactly this gap - separating noise from meaningful signals and connecting the dots across markets. Really glad to know you’re finding value in it.
Technicals Vs Fundamentals ......is a longtime debate. A serious look a this topic with solid facts on when to follow Technicals or Fundamentals...would be quite helpful for investors.
One of the things you could teach is that everyone knows how to make a strategy but don't know when and how to deploy them you can actually teach that using the market data which would be very much beneficial
Yes most of the videos at the moment is for newbies, as far as trending sectors are concerned, we cover that every week in the Market Metrics section of The Long & The Short show.
Let me give you a reference, there was a program called The Aftermarket Podcast by a channel named Marketfeed. It was so helpful that I could have an in depth understanding of what happened in that particular week in the markets. Their drawback was that, it was a weekly program, and i feel the problem with The Aftermarket Report by Zerodha is that, you guys don't really go that deep in Aftermarket Report. While that is okay to get a basic understanding about the markets on a day to day basis, it was not that precise or conclusive. Maybe with this initiative you can solve that and publish a daily newsletter which is a greater and useful version of Aftermarket Report by help us understand the market matrices, emotions, and reasonable facts in a more detailed manner. And a market summery by the end of the week.
